Blogging just isn’t very easy right now. Typing one-handed is a pain. But I’ll probably get a lot better in the next few weeks.
In case any readers here don’t follow me on facebook, I’ll be having elbow surgery on Friday, March 20, 2009, to correct the damage caused by the skateboard fall…

B: Back in ’89 I went over the handlebars of my bike and broke my right wrist. I am right-handed. I had to type one-handed…with my left. I had to everything left handed, even write (or should I say scribble), eat, even brush my teeth. It was a pain (pun intended). I appreciate you keeping this current since I don’t do the facebook thing. Will pray for your surgery to be successful.
Yep, I’m right handed.
Yep, it’s my right arm.
Yep, I’m typing left handed.
Yep, I’m the ONLY piano player in the church…
B, praying for you and your Dr tomorrow, that the surgery goes well and that recovery is speedy!
Will it be open or arthroscopic surgery?
I can truly empathize after my 3 right shoulder reconstruction surgeries in the past 13 years (1 and 2 were within 4 months of the injury, than about a 9-yr gap until #3). Broomball. ‘Nuf said.
On the bright side (at least for you) you’ll have plenty of B-Ball to watch as you recover!
‘cept we don’t have a TV to watch it on. :/
There’s always watching them live over the Internet here (Madness on Demand, about halfway down), which is new this year, thanks to the Summer Olympics, last year…
I’m hoping the surgery went well. I am once again behind in my blogging since I have been on Twitter and Facebook lately. It is hard to do anything one-handed. I dislocated my elbow 2 years ago and getting dressed and undressed was NOT easy. Heal fast!!!
