Bugs

4 Mar

I am the most bug-bitten man alive.

My wife is the most bug-bitten woman I know.

However, our bugs are different.

She gets bitten by insects.

I get bitten by obsessions which last two to three months.

The yearly Harley bug.  The photography bug.  The guitar bug.  The youth ministry bug.  The songwriting bug.  The ’32 roadster bug.  The fishing bug.  The airplane bug.  The flight sim bug.  The blogging bug.  The web design bug.  The video camera bug.  The football bug.  The chess bug.  The dog training bug.  The exercise bug.  The gun / shooter bug.

And now I’m feeling the bite of the 4×4 / truck / Jeep bug.  Thanks to Teresa and her pics of four wheeling in the snow at Max Patch

Good grief.  I’ve never seen a more unstably minded man in my life.  At least, I guess, I’m not boring.

Maybe, instead of “BUHnard”, she’s actually calling me “BUGnard” and I’ve just never caught on.

I think I have those same symptoms… oh no, is it contagious?

You guys are batty. Or is that “you are driving me buggy?” Or “You bug the heck out of me.” Seems to me that Karma’s bugginess is slightly cheaper than yours. But I say, “Go for it. Use the insect spray on someone else and get all bug-bitten.”

This was so cute. I had to laugh. I am right there behind you with getting the bug for different things. /But I bet my bug bites are shorter than yours! I always have a hard time following through on things. I think I might just make a list of my bugs!!
