Casper

27 Jan

Casper is a bully.  An indescribably persistent bully with no morals or concerns for his victims.

Yet, Casper is a victim.  A victim of his nature.  He cannot escape it.  He desires to dominate and force others to run to escape him.

Casper is much like a man without Christ.

Romans 8:7 – Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Sort of reminds me of that story of the scorpion who asks the turtle to take him across the water and as they go he stings the turtle. When the turtle asks why it says, “Because it is my nature.” I fit more in line with Romans 7-”what I don’t want to do I do and the things I want to do I don’t.”

I got to your site ! Yea!!

Cycleguys reference to Romans 7 is what my theology up bringing refers to as our “carnal nature” – our bent to keep on sinning – has to go. Otherwise we live like Casper or the Scorpion.

Getting to your blog is working out just fine now. Hope your day goes well. Mine will be quite relaxed for the most part.
