There are really all kinds of cool things going on in my life, if I would just sit down and think it through. I’m a very lucky and extremely blessed man. I owe God a big apology for all my complaining.
That’s not to say that I’ll never complain again, but it won’t be any more “right” then than it is now.
T and K.
Bethel football and basketball.
Mom and Dad.
Good friends.
My guitar.
Any piano.
The Blackberry. The iPod. The ThinkPad that runs Ubuntu. Two digital cameras. (K told me tonight “I wish I was YOU, so I could have all your STUFF!” She was amazed at the quantity of camera lenses, flashes, and bags, but it still was a shocking alert about how much “stuff” I do have. Quite a thought to ponder.)
A bunch of Bibles. The Bible on the Web.
Somehow I always find a way to want more.
I want to find contentment in Christ and be really, really, really CONTENT with what I have. Or even less.

I desperately want to like Yahoo.
I love the way it looks, when compared to Google. I just hate the look of Gmail and all the associated stuff. It has just become very “uncool” in my eyes.
I love Flickr. I don’t like Picasa Web, even though I love Picasa. (Picnik is better at editing, but the library is really slow.)
But.
When the Blackberry comes into the equation, Yahoo Mail and all that gonja just doesn’t work the way I need.
I need to be able to see ALL my email online as well as on any computer I may happen to be at.
I need to be able to have GIGABYTES of email storage.
I need to be able to search quickly and effectively.
Thus, Gmail it is.
As well, Google Sync allows my calendar on the BlackBerry to work with my web calendar. I can’t see any way for Yahoo’s calendar to do that.
Thus, Google it is.
But Flickr still has my attention, so Yahoo still has some hope. If Yahoo could work seamlessly with a BlackBerry, we could be friends.

I have tossed Google Reader.
Google offers some tremendously good stuff that I like.
But I’m starting to like it less.
My blog reader of choice is now www.bloglines.com.
I’d possibly switch to yahoo mail, but there’s some complications. Primarily storage space. And the lack of a Blackberry app.
They eliminated Google Notebook so I’m using Evernote. I don’t like it, really, but…
