Looks like we have a legitimate cotender for the wild card game on our hands, thanks to AT LEAST three interceptions late in the fourth by Collins and Williams. Go Packers!!!

If Colt McCoy doesn’t win the Heisman, it won’t be from lack of effort.  Nor can it be blamed on tonight’s game.

I like Colt.  This was a great game.  Another one of those funny situations where I like both teams.

• Packers won.  GOOD.  Two important guys got hurt.  BAD.
• Tar Heels lost.  Just like I expected but worse.  DISAPPOINTING.
• Tar Heel football team won.  SURPRISING.
• Crossroads free picture giveaway went really good and we got to meet some new folks. AWESOME!
• Crossroads elected a new pastor!  AMAZING and GOD-POWERED!
• Bethel Pee Wee boys ALMOST beat Jackson County.  THEY TRIED HARD!
• I bumbled around like an idiot while talking about 1 Samuel 16.  OH, WELL… 
• I “wrote” a really cool version of “O, Come All Ye Faithful” and even videoed it so I can remember it.  (Video will NOT be posted, don’t worry.) OKAY…

There was once a time that I had a Friday “regular” post, called Friday Thawts.  I also did “Monday Mawnings”, which was usually a reflection on the weekend’s events. 

As of now, I officially resurrect those days.

Today’s thawts…

• The freakin’ UNC Tar Heels have got their work cut out for them against Syracuse tonight.  Ohio State knocked on the door hard last night, but the Orangemen will BRING IT.  That junk basketball the boys in blue have been playing won’t cut it tonight.  I’m afraid we’ll lose by 10.  Cross your fingers that I’m wrong.
• Green Bay Packers vs. San Fancisco 49ers – Of course I want the Pack to win.  I know they CAN.  Whether they actually show up or not is another question.  Pack by 3.
• Nascar – Grrrrr.  I hate racing. 
• Crossroads is voting on a new pastor this week.  I’m looking forward to God doing amazing things.  
• Crossroads is giving away free Christmas portraits to non-members in the community.  I love it. 
• Got some news this morning that Precision Products may get really busy in the next few months.  Praise God for that!
• I don’t like it when my kids are sick.
• I need to get back on my exercise program.

I’m sorry, but that’s just a GOOD score!  Way to go Packers!

Since the Browns have so far held the Ravens scoreless, I’m sure that they are going to destroy all the odds and hand Baltimore a loss.  Of course, that’s how it has to be – I’ve picked the Ravens to win in my weekly “bet” with my buddy at work….
